pregnancy, post natal and mum and baby yoga 

Weald Power Yoga offers pre-natal yoga from 12 weeks (first scan). The benefits of practising gentle yoga during pregnancy are endless! A pregnancy yoga class will stretch out achey muscles, sooth lower back pain, improve sleep and energy levels and build/ maintain strength and stamina in preparation for birth. Practicing yoga during pregnancy also allows for quicker post natal recovery. 

Pre natal yoga is quite different to the flowing dyanamic yoga taught in the other group classes, and is focussed on grounding and relaxing the mother-to-be whilst gently strengthening and stretching to best support the body during trimesters 2 and 3. 

Weald Power Yoga will soon be adding Pre-Natal and Mum and Baby Yoga to the weekly schedule as soon as time allows, but in the mean time these services are available in private 1:1 sessions with Ruth. Please get in touch with ruth@wealdpoweryoga.com for more information.
